We are pleased to present the “International Symposium cum Training Workshop for Jockey Club Early Psychosis Project (JCEP) – MOVING AHEAD: Early Intervention in Mental Health” funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and organized by Department of Psychiatry of The University of Hong Kong.

Theme: Moving Ahead: Early Intervention in Mental Health

The Symposium aims to provide an evidence-based platform for experience and idea exchanges on mental health issues and early intervention works.   We will discuss community effort in mental health services and share the JCEP experiences, as well as explore mental health issues from Australia, China and Singapore.
Government officials, local NGOs, community stakeholders and leaders, academics, social workers, health care professionals, teachers, university students, and the general public are invited to join the Symposium.

Life Coaching has been used as one of the effective intervention means in the field of psychiatric services.  To faciliate knowledge transfer, JCEP and Early Psychosis Foundation co-organize this training workshop that aims to translate the professional experience of life coaching in different practices. Apart from coaching theories, real-case sharing, demonstration and discussions are also conducted for participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the mindset and practical application of life coaching.
